Purpose: Scholarship for $2000 awarded to an applicant with career interests in food journalism who is in his/her second or third year in an accredited bachelor degree program in journalism or a food-related curriculum. Must be resident of a "Southern" state within the Southern Living readership area (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Virginia, Arkansas, Texas, Mississippi, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Oklahoma, West Virginia, or Delaware) and substantiate residency. Adolph Van Pelt Special Fund for Indian Scholarships

Purpose: This scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students based upon need and merit. Grants are paid directly to the educational institute and are renewable up to four years for any one degree. Each year $100 is added to the scholarship amount to a maximum of $800.
