Veterans Caucus Scholarships
(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)
Purpose: These awards recognize achievement and leadership potential for the physician assistant profession by former or active reserve/guard duty members of any uniformed service of the United States. Only full-time graduate students
are eligible. Application deadline is March 1. Focus: Health and Medical Sciences Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 3. Maximum no. of awards: 15. Minimum award amount: $1250. Maximum award amount: $2000. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 14 scholarship(s), totalling $18,500. To Apply: Required: application form; reference(s); DD Form 214 or similar form issued by uniformed service department documenting service. Deadline: 3/1 every year.
