A1Logan Slagle Scholarship

(Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: A scholarship to American Indian students who are members of State Recognized Tribes, or Tribes seeking federal recognition. Applicants must be full-time students and determination is based on need. Qualif.: Applicant must

be: full-time student. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo.

Funds Avail.: Minimum award amount: $1000.

Displaced Homemaker Scholarship

(Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: This scholarship will augment the unmet needs associated with usual and expected expenses such as child care, transportation, and some basic living expenses, in addition to educational costs.
Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo.

Minimum award amount: $1000. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 24 scholarship(s), totalling $27,994.

Emergency Aid and Health Professionals Scholarship Program


(Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: This scholarship is awarded to full time undergraduate students based on financial need and is limited to availability of funds. Emergency Aid is available during both Fall and Spring semesters. Students may only receive one scholarship per academic year.
Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo.

Funds Avail.: Minimum award amount: $100. Maximum award amount: $400. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 9 scholarship(s), totalling $3,600.

Emilie Hessmeyer Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship to full-time American Indian and Alaska Native students, with a preference given to students pursuing a major in Education. This scholarship is renewable up to four years toward any single degree. Focus: Education
Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo.

Sequoyah Graduate Fellowships for American Indians and Alaskan Natives


(Four Year College, University/Fellowship)

Purpose: This scholarship is available to American-Indians and Alaska Natives who are pursuing graduate degrees in diverse fields. Applicants must provide class schedule and be enrolled full time.
Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo.

Funds Avail.: Minimum award amount: $1500. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 10 fellowship(s), totalling $7,500.

Adolph Van Pelt Special Fund for Indian Scholarships

(Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: This scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students based upon need and merit. Grants are paid directly to the educational institute and are renewable up to four years for any one degree. Each year $100 is added to the scholarship amount to a maximum of $800.
Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo.

Funds Avail.: Minimum award amount: $500. Maximum award amount: $800. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 14 scholarship(s), totalling $9,100.
