Purpose: One-time scholarship available for a graduating high school senior with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA who is a child, or dependent stepchild of an active, retired, disabled, or deceased member of local union affiliated with Teamsters No. 37.

Member must have been active for at least one year. Award may be received for a maximum of twelve quarters. Qualif.: High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to employees or relatives of employees within the following industries: designated career field.

Purpose: Award for dependents of Stimson employees who are graduating seniors from accredited high school. Non-renewable scholarships available for twoor four-year colleges. Four-year scholarships renewable with minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA. Qualif.: High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to employees or relatives of employees within the following industries: designated career field. Student must be affiliated with Stimson Lumber Company.

$1000 Bertha P. Singer Nurses Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Available to Oregon residents pursuing a nursing career. Must have at least a 3.0 GPA and attend a college or university in Oregon. Must have completed one year of undergraduate study.

One-time award of $1000. Proof of enrollment in 3rd year of 4-year nursing degree program or 2nd year of a 2-year associate degree nursing program is required. (Transcripts not sufficient.) U.S. Bancorp employees, their children, or close relatives are not eligible. Focus: Nursing Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
