Nieman-Berkman Fellowship in Journalism Innovation, Harvard University, USA


The Nieman-Berkman Fellowship in Journalism Innovation will bring at least one individual to Harvard University for the 2014-15 academic year to work on a specific course of research or a specific project relating to journalism innovation.

The fellowship is a collaboration between two parts of Harvard: the Nieman Foundation for Journalism and the Berkman Center for Internet & Society. Both share a set of common interests around journalism, innovation, and the evolution of the digital space. And both have longstanding fellowship programs that give people a year to learn and collaborate with others in the Harvard community.

The Nieman-Berkman Fellow will be a joint fellow between the two centers — a full Nieman Fellow and a full Berkman Fellow.

The Nieman-Berkman Candidate

$5000 Clarkston Scholars Program


Each year, the Clarkston Scholars Program provides one sophomore attending a four-year college/university undergraduate program in Pennsylvania, majoring in a Life Sciences related field of study, a $10,000 scholarship award ($5,000 per year for junior and senior year). In addition, the Clarkston Scholar will receive exposure to the Life Sciences industry through mentoring with Clarkston Consulting and participation in Pennsylvania Bio events over the course of the two-year scholarship award period.

ANS Graduate Scholarships


A maximum of twenty-nine graduate scholarships are available for full-time graduate students in a program leading to an advanced degree in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear-related field. ANS also awards the following individual graduate scholarships:

Robert A. Dannels Scholarship - Nomination of handicapped persons is encouraged.
Verne R. Dapp Scholarship (odd years)
Walter Meyer Scholarship (even years)
Everitt P. Blizard Scholarship - For students pursuing graduate studies in the field of radiation protection and shielding.
Allan F. Henry/Paul A. Greebler Scholarship - For students pursuing graduate studies in the field of reactor physics. An applicant for the Allan F. Henry/Paul A. Greebler Scholarship must be a full-time graduate student of a North American university engaged in Masters or PhD research in the area of nuclear reactor physics or radiation transport. Students of all nationalities are eligible for the Henry/Greebler Scholarship

The John S. Knight Journalism Fellowships at Stanford foster journalistic innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership. Each year, we give twenty outstanding individuals from around the world the resources to pursue and test their ideas for improving the quality of news and information reaching the public.

Eligibility
U.S. applicants for a Knight Fellowship ideally have at least seven years of full-time professional experience, international applicants ideally have at least five years. But we also consider less experienced applicants with outstanding achievements. No college degree is required.
