$1500 Special Animation and Illustration Scholarship
(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)
Purpose: Scholarships are for minority and economically disadvantaged students who are studying illustration, cartooning, and animation in American colleges and universities. Scholarship recipients are selected not only for their ability and their need, but also for their demonstrated commitment to giving back to the larger community through their work. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo; Asian; African American; Hispanic.
Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 25. Minimum award amount: $1500. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 25 scholarship(s), totalling $37,500.
