Eligibility:
Students must qualify for ‘Home’ (UK) fee status, be joining undergraduate full-time programmes from the academic year 2012/13 onwards, and have a family income level validated by Student Finance England that qualifies them to receive UK government grant support (i.e. family income under £42,600 currently).



Scholarship Open for International Students: No

International Scholarships for Undergraduate Description: The financial support element of our First-Generation Scholars scheme is targeted to help students who come from relatively low income families. We have set the eligibility threshold for financial support at the highest level possible i.e. students whose family income is up to £42,600 (for 2012/13). This support from Sussex will be additional to the loans and grants available to students directly from Government.Year 1: £1K cash bursary plus either a £2K rent reduction or a £2K fee waiver. Subsequent years: £1K cash bursary.
