ABC News/Joanna Bistany Memorial Scholarship
(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)
Purpose: This scholarship will be awarded to students who are pursuing careers as reporters or producers in the English-language television news industry. Students may major in any
subject, but must demonstrate a sincere desire to pursue a career in this field. Students will be required to submit an essay and work samples. Applications must be postmarked on or before the final Friday in January of each year. Recipients will be given an opportunity to intern with ABC News. Applications available only at Web site: http://www.nahj.org. Focus: Journalism; TV/Radio Broadcasting Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
